Schmap Detroit

Snowy Detroit

Alright, I apologize for the abandonment of my blog, but fear not — DSU shall persevere.  I have no plans to stop blogging, however do not be surprised if posts continue to freeze up until the end of the school year.  Working part-time and going to high school is a combination that does not leave ample time for anything, blogging included.  I had hoped to get some content up during the Thanksgiving weekend — unfortunately our cable modem died on Wednesday, and I suffered through a long week with limited dial-up access.  Back on broadband, though time is still a crunch.  My free time at the moment is spent researching a semester chemistry project, so it is hard to be optimistic for the immediate future of the blog.  (I might add that we are not opposed to an occasional guest blogger stopping by.)  Until we get back on our feet, there are plenty of things to do in the D.

If you are in fact looking for something to do in Detroit, you may want to try the free Schmaps guide — it has plenty of ideas of things to do.  Perhaps most of them are already known by the locals, but for those coming into the city for a day, Schmaps appears to be a good place to start.  Plus I consented for them to use one of my photos for their entry regarding the Detroit Shock, so be sure to check it out.
