The NFL Playoffs are underway, and this next weekend features several exciting matchups. If I can, I plan to gain control of the TV and watch football the entire weekend. NFL.com has an interesting feature. If your team is out of the playoffs, you might as well head on over, answer the five questions, and see which team you should pull for — I got the Baltimore Ravens because they have a strong defense, love to play at home, and have many stars.
Go check it out: NFL Bandwagon.
Now that you’ve found your team for this playoff season, let’s take a look at this weekend’s action:
Saturday, January 13, 2007
- Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens | 4:30 PM on CBS
- Peyton Manning’s offense against Ray Lewis and the Baltimore defense. I can see a physical matchup already… I’ll take the Ravens because I’m sick of hearing about Peyton Manning.
- Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints | 8:00 PM on FOX
- Former Lion Jeff Garcia is seeing success as the injury replacement for Donovan McNabb in Philly, but America, and I, will be rooting for the Saints.
Sunday, January 14, 2007
- Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears | 1:00 PM on FOX
- Matt Hasselbeck leads the ‘Hawks into Soldier Field to face one of the best defenses in football history. First Lewis vs. Manning, now Urlacher vs. Hasselbeck? This is going to be one great weekend… I’ll take the Bears.
- New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers | 4:30 PM on CBS
- LaDainian Tomlinson should run for president — he’s that good. Tom Brady is also a fine player, but I’m not sure the Pats will have what it takes to knock off the Chargers. I take San Diego.

unfortunately I got Seattle. Well, not really unfortunate, it’s just I expect to be taking the bandwagon test again next week!
“a team well seasoned with vets
“strong running
“takes few penalties
“has your alums on it.” (I went to MSU, god help my Saturdays).
